I was very strong at high-school mathematics and still in Helsinki Technical University in its Applied Mathematics III test, which was one of the most difficult one in dealing with a five dimensional vectors`space. I got in it a very good result meaning the highest score of 5. Finnish theosophist Pekka Ervast says in his book of "Future Religion" from the year 1900 that difficult mathematics cannot be solved by reason. The right answers come only naturally from intuition with math talented persons, whom Ervast called to be "Chosen" ones.
That success tells you that I have a good base to be a visionary type of innovative person, which comes out in my heavily international career, where my strong and deep seeing visionary capacity brought out good ideas both in tough international consulting engineering projects in few oil developing countries like Nigeria, Libya and Saudi-Arabia and still in international manufacturing company in its American competitor acquisition in New York and later creating a North American focused strategy based on my system thinking innovation via strategic intuition, which I call "Big Picture" vision tool. Thinking these good ideas I can point here in this page on its heading from the Oxford Advance Dictionary that my intuition based vision has brought out even truths and are built in my learning products and ideas. The paying of too much in an American acquisition and having problems in this market due to wrongly thought out strategy is a fact with even in such big Finnish companies eg. in M&A area a major pulp and paper company StoraEnso, which acquired an American company called Consolidated Papers and ended up paying a whopping 70% over its stock price resulting then losses of 2,5 billion euros. In strategy front I learned that very successful company like Nokia had continued problems in America. I contacted its American manager being a Finn and told him of my "Big Picture" innovation. But after receiving my A4 picture he reported back that my idea would not help Nokia. This was some 5 years ago and Nokia has now its biggest challenge in America coming from Apple's very successful iPhone 3GS. Then I think that it could be right time to arrange same kind of meeting in Nokia which I organized in Burlington, Ontario for Tamrock fusion with Eimco.
These examples show that my strategic ideas could have helped or could now help Finnish companies. In America I learned that companies had there "not invented here" syndroma for just saying NO, even if they would need my work and ideas. But I think that now it is time to take off these NO answers and replace them with YES, like a new movie by comedy star Jim Carrey is just saying.
I can still show another example. When Daimler Benz was earlier buying Chrysler I wrote to Daimler's HRM Director about my American training in firm of good MBA with my New York M&A work and still following target merger and strategy work and this director wrote me back that there was a good interest in Daimler hiring me. But after one week some other Daimler manager writing in German told me that they did not need my services. But their result with merging Chrysler did not work right and they lost according to an American book about business blunders 650 million dollars.

Pamphlet “Finland’s Vision”. One editor said in 1994 that he kept himself a deep thinker, but said frankly that I went in my thinking much deeper than him. One person asked me if my pamphlet was about religion. But in 1994 deep recession no publisher accepted my critical pamphlet and it is now only available in the Internet. Still then in 2004 one experienced female cultural reporter of Helsingin Sanomat, our only main newspaper in Finland, told me that my work is still actual. Then I suggest that all Finish publishers will see now my work in the Internet and contact me. I wrote my pamphlet's main ideas in the same way as I solved my math in high-school and in Technical University i.e. alone in my room as my pamphlet's text came from my intuition to my vision. Then it is extremely important as it shows the truth. I think that it is now very urgent thing overall to bring good ideas how to solve global financial crisis as otherwise we end upto long term recession. One big help would be to publish my pamphlet first in Finnish and then in few other European languages.
“Transatlantic Vision”, my 2 page dissertation, was published in 2004 in three newspapers, two economical and one regional. One Finnish PHd informed me that my analysis was very good.
My homepage supports a one-man firm called Substance, Ind. Its opening product is a lecture of true leadership and right strategic thinking. The lecture is based on my thesis, where I show my result in management vs. leadership question. Once I gave this lecture at Helsinki School of Economics and after my talk one young IT-entrepreneur came to me and told that if dot.coms in their time around year 2000 would have had this information and understanding then they had not failed. Then an American student contacted me and asked my advice for his essay in this same subject. I gave him the URL of my two theses. He was polite and came back to me and told that he had got best grade for his essay.
I see that many universities and management consultants are now offering 2..3 day courses and they say that come in as a manager and leave out as a leader. They promise to show managers how leaders work to provide a necessary learning. But leadership is about what and not about how. My lecture is about what is leadership and what is management, because that is right and all those classes about how have in my opinion no value. If you do not believe me and still want to get this most important issue right read about Harvard Emeritus professor Abraham Zaleznik in HBR issue May-June 1977 when he wrote an influential article "Managers and Leaders: Are they different" and deeper read his book "The Managerial Mystique, restoring leadership in business" from 1989. It is based on my manual, where my target is to get such strategic and systems thinking skills to my client that it is able to improve its results from year to year, like 21 years ahead and being better in every year than in earlier one, as I learned happening in America. My "Big Picture" innovation is using a 2by2 frame of Harvard Michael E. Porter a famous strategy professor. This frame is then widely known. But I developed it further in a merger task force meeting in Turku, Finland, where was present Finnish managing director and American marketing director and me. These two experienced men knew their business, but had no idea how to advance the merger. Then I started to ask simple questions and drafted into that Porter frame a fine mathematical content. I also replaced his cost leadership and differentiation axis names by axis with names standard and premium. In our meeting this idea of mine gave light how to advance the merger and the company asked me to do the same analysis for its all other business units. Now I see, that this visionary tool could help in solving strategic problems not only in my worked mining equipment industry, but also in mobile phone industry, maybe even in car industry, etc.
Then you see that my strategic intuition and math prowess has provided solid tools to solve problems both in business and politics.
